Les Pierce was born in Paris, France where he was raised on music and later moved to the Motor City-Detroit, Michigan. His father was a serviceman, professional pianist and encouraged Les to play piano
at a young age. His mother was an inspiration and
great support to him, as well as many other musicians. Over time and with many hours of practice Les became an accomplished pianist and saxophonist. He earned scholarships to the Detroit Music Conservatory, Henry Ford Community College, as well as Michigan State University, which gave him a solid classical training.. |
